Treatments
The whole menu,
and the prices.
Everything Jane offers, what it costs, and where a price would be the wrong thing to give you.
- A note on prices
- Some of these treatments are prescription only medicines. The law is clear that they cannot be advertised, and we think that is right: a medicine should follow an assessment, not a shopping basket.
Prescription only
Wrinkle smoothing injections.
Jane treats the frown, the forehead and crow's feet, and she is trained in advanced techniques for the lower face and neck, including the jaw line and the top lip.
These treatments use prescription only medicines. That means no brand can be named here, no price can be listed, and no before and after photographs can be shown. It also means that what you actually get is an assessment: Jane looks at your face, listens to what is bothering you, and prescribes only where it is appropriate. Because she is an independent prescriber, that decision is hers and she makes it with you in the room.
Areas she treats:
- Frown lines
- Forehead
- Crow's feet
- Lower face and neck, including the jaw line
- Top lip
Come for the free fifteen minute consultation and she will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing, and what it would cost you.
Priced treatments
Dermal fillers.
Hyaluronic acid fillers, used to restore volume and definition. Priced per syringe, and the price depends on the area and how much is needed.
Dermal fillers
Nose to mouth lines (naso labials), marionette lines at the corner of the mouth, and general facial work.
Lip fillers
Lip outline, fuller lips, and the top lip area.
Cheek volumising
Restoring volume across the cheek.
Chin reshaping and jowl correction
Definition through the chin and jaw. This is the advanced lower face work Jane trained for.
Priced treatments
Skin quality, over time.
Hydrating skin boosters
Hydrating dermal fillers for larger areas: the face, the neck and the hands, to improve skin texture.
Three initial treatments are usually advised, followed by an annual maintenance treatment.
Profhilo
An injectable hyaluronic acid treatment for the face, neck and decolletage, placed at specific points and left to disperse over several months. It works beneath the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin.
A minimum of two treatments over several weeks is needed to start, then maintenance every six to twelve months. Profhilo is different: the skin simply gets better over time with each course. Patience is required.
Cryotherapy freeze treatments
For skin tags and sun spots, sometimes called liver spots. Jane assesses the skin first and will only freeze a lesion where she is satisfied that is the right thing to do. Anything that needs a doctor's eye gets referred, not frozen.
Prescription only
Sweating and teeth grinding.
Two medical problems, rather than cosmetic ones, and both treated with prescription only medicines.
Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating, most often under the arms. It is genuinely miserable to live with and it responds well to treatment.
Teeth grinding, where the jaw muscles are overworking, is often the thing behind a sore jaw, worn teeth or morning headaches.
Neither can be advertised with a price, and neither should be. Both start with Jane assessing you in person. Ask at your consultation and she will explain what is involved and what it would cost.
Not sure which
Then do not choose yet.
Most people arrive knowing what bothers them, not which treatment fixes it. That is the whole point of the consultation.
Bring the problem, not the product. Fifteen minutes, free of charge, at the Cattedown clinic, with free parking outside. You are under no obligation to book anything afterwards.
